Student Leadership Retreat | August 16-18, 2010
If you plan to be a returning student leader I am asking that you join us for our SL Retreat coming up in August. We will be taking a few days to go to the beach, to hang out and relax, and get ready for the upcoming year. I think we are ready to raise the level of expectations from our student leaders for this upcoming year, simply because I believe that you are ready for it. You are ready to be released to do ministry amongst your peers. I once heard a beautiful little saying, “if you expect a casual commitment, then you will receive casual results.” I don’t want casual results, because our God is not a casual results kind of God. God has huge plans for our lives, and therefore has a mindset of some huge results that we are able to accomplish for the Kingdom of God in North Jersey. Our retreat will give us a time to get away, to spend some time spiritually preparing for the upcoming school/ministry year, some time to brainstorm and plan for different things happening in the fall, and also talk about the potential we have if we really do tap into the power of God and what he wants to do in and through us.
