Youth Group
Within the youth group night, we want to focus on providing a safe environment for the students to bring their peers, so that they can be ministered to effectively. The goal of this night is provide a space that our students feel comfortable in bringing their peers, so that they can share their own faith with them. We will focus on providing an atmosphere for effective outreach and evangelism, as well as promoting healthy, strong teaching times.
JH Bible Study
Our JH Bible Study is a focused time of in-depth bible study for our Junior High students.
SH Student Leadership
This will concentrate on deeper, more focused discipleship. This avenue of the ministry will look to develop a core “leadership” group of the students to help with any kind of planning, brainstorming, but also taking a time to go deeper and challenging their faith to go to a deeper level. We will try to incorporate elements of service and challenging the students to focus and concentrate on practicing the spiritual disciplines. While these elements of service may not be held on the actual weeknight, it would be this main core leadership group that may travel to carry out the teachings of service.
Sunday Morning Community
The purpose of the Sunday morning program to incorporate a primary element of small groups with the intentions to build relationships and community between students and their leaders. These small groups will focus on trying to place adults in the students’ lives in order to mentor them and to build relationships between the generations. Teaching will also be brought into the Sunday Morning program to further enhance the relationships being built in community.
